VBScript version 5 contains some significant new language features that should be most welcome to users of previous versions of VBScript. For the record, the last version of VBScript to receive general distribution was VBScript 3.1. Version 4 of VBScript was distributed with Microsoft Visual Studio version6, but did not contain any new language features. The changes between version 3.1 and 4 all had to do with IntelliSense and debugging features in Visual InterDev version 6.
